Richard’s love of the Cornish coast began as a child when he visited Cornwall every summer with his family. He moved permanently in 1983 and quickly discovered surfing and surf lifesaving, which he still enjoys with the rest of the family. As a young family they enjoyed spending holiday time sailing on the Petty Fox on the Isles of Scilly and Cornish Crabbers and Shrimpers along the Fal estuary.
These trips inspired Richard to pursue his dream of purchasing a Pilot Cutter 30 – the flagship of the Cornish Crabber range – and to introduce visitors to Cornwall’s spectacular coastline whilst they enjoy the delights of this beautiful traditional styled sailing boat.
Richard is a qualified Yachtmaster and Instructor and you can be assured that he will always deliver a safe and reliable service. He is always happy to answer any questions prior to or during your trip and his friendly and enthusiastic approach will put you at your ease.
