Fowey Regatta Week - Sunday 15 to Saturday 21 August 2010
For one week every August, the town of Fowey on the South coast of Cornwall hosts hundreds of visitors who flock to see Fowey Royal Regatta which is one of Britain’s premier sailing events. Laser UK National Championships – Saturday 21 to Friday 27 August 2010
Mount’s Bay Sailing Club will host the 2010 UK and Open National Laser Championships. With a full racing programme taking place in the spectacular Mount’s Bay, this event once again puts Cornwall on the map as a host for a major sailing event.
Newlyn Fish Festival - 9am-5pm, Monday 30 August 2010
The 2010 festival takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, 30th August. The festival includes tours of the harbour, the opportunity to see many different fishing vessels, plus stalls and cooking demonstrations.
